People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Halesowen and the surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.
Shift Pattern:
* Monday to Friday: 05: 00 am starts
Pay Rate:
* £15.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be:
* Safely operate and drive Category C vehicles to and from delivery locations
* Multi-drop deliveries to various customers with different delivery methods
* Handle and deliver frozen and chilled products efficiently
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to management
* Adhere to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
* Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
* Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staff
* SOME HANDBALL REQUIRED
Essential Skills:
The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are:
* Valid UK Category C Licence
* Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, CD codes)
* Reliable, professional, and punctual
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Must be reasonably physically fit as some handball required
Desirable Experience:
* Previous xsngvjr commercial or multi-drop delivery experience
* Experience handling large or bulky goods
* Good customer interaction and service skills
Training:
* Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
