Facilities Officer Edinburgh – onsite
12-month FTC
We're looking for a Facilities Administrator to join our client's dynamic team in Edinburgh for 12 months and play a key role in supporting our facilities operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver real impact, work with a variety of people, and help keep the workplace running at its best.
Act as the first point of contact for all facilities-related calls and requests, delivering top-tier customer service within strict SLAs.
Flag potential risks to management promptly and responsibly.
Handle and process original legal documents with accuracy and confidentiality.
Operate key Digital Mailroom equipment, including guillotines, scanners, folding machines, and digital printers.
Manage contractor/vendor access, ensuring all compliance checks and inductions are completed.
Support on-site facilities operations and assist with internal office moves and manual handling.
Take ownership of essential Health & Safety roles such as First Aider and Fire Warden, and maintain noticeboards with up-to-date information.
Contribute to ad hoc projects and offer support where it’s needed most.
Previous experience in a facilities environment or print services.
Hands-on experience operating digital printing equipment and using Fiery Print Software.
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
Willingness to perform manual handling tasks (up to 25kg).
