Responsibilities Overall management of the parts department and assisting with the service department when required Identifying and ordering parts for forklift trucks and other related Material Handling equipment using various portals Dealing with both suppliers and customers over the phone Working directly with Service Controllers and Service Managers throughout the ordering process Liaising with engineers in the field and in the workshop to ensure that correct parts are ordered efficiently Requirements Due to the responsibilities of the position, you will ideally have experience of working within the Material Handling industry in a role with a parts focus, however this is not essential. The company would also consider candidates with experience from similar industries such as plant hire, powered access, automotive, commercial vehicles or any other industries with transferable knowledge.
