Pertemps are seeking skilled MIG Welders to join one of our clients in Kettering, this will be a Temp-Perm role. Duties include Perform MIG welding on various materials, primarily sheet metal, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Conduct inspections of welded joints to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity. Troubleshoot any welding issues that arise during production. Skills Proven experience in MIG welding of at least 4 years Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and blueprints. Proficient in using various power tools and hand tools related to welding and fabrication tasks. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to welding projects. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm, overtime is available daily and Saturday morning, overtime is paid at time and half after 40 hours Pay is £12.81 per hour with a £40 per week attendance bonus.
