Job Description
3. Financial modelling and pricing strategy for bids, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives
4. Translate tender documentation into accurate, persuasive financial workbooks and bid content
5. Collaborate with Business Development and other key internal stakeholders to understand proposed solutions and model the financial workbooks accordingly
6. Documenting pricing assumptions for internal sign off and client submission
7. Communicate agendas and timeframes to ensure relevant approval before submissions
8. Support the Business Development team with weekly investment meetings
9. Support with updating and improving sales workbook models
10. Set and validate target pricing benchmarks and maintain knowledge of bench-marking prices including price to win analysis.
11. Produce final client facing financial returns
12. Contribute to improving costing and pricing efficiency
13. Work with the Business Development Team to create a profitable commercial offer in new business proposals, as well as supplying key competitor analysis.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bid Finance Manager should have:
14. Experience in management accountants/Commercial finance
15. Working towards ACCA or CIMA qualification
16. Proficiency in MS Excel - financial modelling and analysis tools.
17. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
18. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
