About the Role - 3rd Line Support Core Engineer
* As a 3rd Line Support Core Engineer, you'll provide advanced technical support across multiple sites, working on both virtual and physical systems.
* You'll be part of a small, embedded team that maintains, monitors, and enhances secure infrastructure environments.
* Responsibilities include managing VMware and operating systems, platform engineering, environment configuration, and system administration.
* You'll contribute from system build through to live operations, ensuring stability, performance, and security across all services.
* The role includes participation in an on‑call rota to ensure continuous service support.
What We're Looking For - 3rd Line Support Core Engineer
* Proven experience delivering 3rd line technical support within secure or complex environments.
* Strong skills in VMware, Windows Server, and Linux platform engineering.
* Expertise in MS Platform Engineering, environment configuration, and system maintenance.
* Knowledge of backup solutions and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile framework.
