Requirements for a successful SEND Teaching Assistant:
1. Sensitivity and understanding
2. Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
3. Active listening skills
4. Ability to look after children's physical, social, and emotional welfare
5. Flexibility and openness to change
6. Excellent verbal communication skills
7. Ability to adapt teaching support according to students' needs
Other essential requirements include:
1. Enhanced DBS Disclosure (preferably on the update service; we can assist with application if needed)
2. Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
3. Professional reference checks
4. CV covering the last 5 years of employment where possible
5. Legal right to work in the UK
