Room Division Manager –
Primary responsibility is to oversee the Front Office and Housekeeping departments, supporting maintenance and to support Spa, ensuring the efficient operation of guest experience, room accommodations, and housekeeping services, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the room division.
Duties and responsibilities
* Front office management
Oversee and support the Front Office team, including reception, concierge, and Fo Duty Managers, ensuring smooth operations, payroll control and efficient guest check-in and check-out processes, and exceptional service delivery.
* Reservation management
Oversee the reservation, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of room reservations, group bookings, and guest inquiries, and communicate Central Reservations and Group Rev Team to optimize room revenue and occupancy levels.
* Guest services/experience
Continue overseeing guest experience, Maintain standards including personalized service, VIP amenities, and special touches that exceed guest expectations; Manage ReviewPro, including ensure high score of guest feedback response; communicate departments with guest positives and negatives feedback to ensure GRI meets our goals.
* Housekeeping management
Support Housekeeping department, including room attendants, supervisors to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
* Spa Management
Supporting Spa department, including help to manage members' expectations, to manage staff absent and sickness, to ensure the spa treatment are covered ect.
* Training and development
Provide training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to Front Office and Housekeeping staff, ensuring team have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to deliver exceptional service and meet performance standards.
* Collaboration and communication
Collaborate with other hotel departments, including sales, marketing, food and beverage, and maintenance, to coordinate activities, share information, and ensure a seamless guest experience across all areas of the hotel.
