We are recruiting experienced Out of Hours General Practitioners to join our clients Urgent Care Service. You will provide high-quality, patient-centred care during evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team to meet urgent healthcare needs.
The role offers a mix of face-to-face consultations, home visiting support, and Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) triage. You will manage a varied caseload in a fast-paced but rewarding environment, supported by robust clinical governance and experienced colleagues.
We welcome applications from GPs within commuting distance of Devon, Glocester, Surrey and West Midlands. We are looking for GPs who are enthusiastic about urgent care and committed to delivering safe, effective services aligned with NHS values. This position offers excellent flexibility, ongoing professional development, and the opportunity to make a real difference to patients outside normal surgery hours.
Service Hours
* Monday to Friday: 18:30 – 08:00
* Weekends & Bank Holidays: 24-hour service

The post holder will make appropriate referrals, liaise with secondary care services, and use sound clinical judgement to maintain patient safety. Participation in clinical governance, audit, and ongoing professional development is an integral part of the role.
Rates of pay are very competitive and you will be working in a supportive environment.
