Greenwich Children's Integrated Therapies Service are looking to appoint following increased interest in our services. This is an opportunity for an experienced speech and language therapist to join the School Years Service, with a developing clinical specialism within the field of SEMHN (Social, Emotional, Mental Health Needs). You will have the opportunity to work with school-age children & young people with a range of speech, language & communication needs. Providing assessment, advice & intervention, with a supportive team of therapists & assistants. These posts have arisen due to increased interest from local nurseries & schools to provide high-quality Speech & Language Therapy provision. There is the opportunity for professional development & the support of a team of therapists & assistants. You will have access to admin, managerial & clinical support. CPD is supported & the development of clinical interests is encouraged. We have embedded support to offer including:

Main duties of the job
The Greenwich Children\'s Integrated Therapies Service includes Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy teams, providing support across Early Years, School Years, and Special Schools. The Speech and Language Therapy team has specialists in key clinical areas including Autism, DLD, deafness, dysphagia, phonology, and SEMH, working collaboratively to provide clinical support and second opinions. The post holder will assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for children referred to the Speech and Language Therapy Service across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. They will support parents, clients, and professionals on all aspects of client management, including delivering training where appropriate. This role includes responsibility for a defined clinical area (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Needs) and for contributing to service-wide projects within the Integrated Therapies service. The post holder will plan and deliver evidence-based interventions for a range of speech, language, and communication needs and contribute to the training and development of colleagues. You will be supported by senior managers with clinical and strategic responsibility for the SLT service.
