We are looking for motivated individuals with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn, who are excited to join theResearch & Development functionsupporting the Clinical Operations team with efficient, compliant, effective planning and execution of clinical trials, and adhering to regulatory standards. No prior experience isrequiredas you will be given full training.

Education required:
3. Five GCSE passes (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above.
4. At least two subjects at A Level (or equivalent), including Chemistry / Biology. Alternatively,youmusthave completeda Level 3 Laboratory Technical Apprenticeship in a relevant science discipline.
Language requirement:Written and spoken fluency in English
Duration:5 years
Location:GSK HQ, London.You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site by the time your apprenticeship begins, as you will be expected to be on-site 2-3 times per week.
What will you do?
During your apprenticeship, youwill be involved in a variety of tasksthat support theplanning and delivery of clinical trials. Responsibilities may varybut could include:
5. Study Support:Assistin the setup, monitoring, and close-out of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements.
6. Data Management: Support the collection, entry, and verification of clinical trial data,maintainingaccuracy and integrity.
7. Documentation: Help prepare, review, andmaintainessential study documents and reports.
8. Site Coordination: Coordinate communication andlogisticswith clinical trial sites and vendors.
9. Regulatory Compliance:Assistin ensuring all activities adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
10. Project Assistance: Provide administrative and operational support to project managers and study teams.
11. Training Participation: Engage in training sessions to develop knowledge and skills related to clinical operations and study delivery.
12. Quality Assurance: Support quality control efforts to ensurehigh standardsin study execution and data management.
This apprenticeship could includefiverotations in roles which support Clinical Trials in the UK and within a central global team. Rotationsmay be within theGlobal Monitoring & Site Engagement,Human Biological SampleManagement, Global Clinical Delivery, Data Strategy & Management,orDigital, Analytics & Performance teams.
Will travelling berequiredin this role?
Yes, travel will berequiredto fulfil role responsibilities, particularly in Site Engagement where you will be travelling to monitor visits across different sites in the UK. University campus visits and summer schools are also expected.
