On-Call Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal
Salary up to £31,000 DOE plus up to £7,500 relocation allowance and accommodation provided.
Are you a confident small animal vet looking for a rewarding and flexible out‑of‑hours role in a stunning part of Scotland? We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated veterinary surgeon to help relaunch and develop our small animal emergency provision.
This role follows a one‑week‑on, three‑weeks‑off rota pattern (or one‑week‑on, one‑week‑off on a salary‑adjusted basis). Working from 6 pm to 8 am, Monday to Sunday, you’ll respond to small animal emergencies as needed from the well‑equipped site or on‑call from home or our provided accommodation.

Key responsibilities include:
* Respond to small animal emergencies as needed
* Support local veterinary teams and the community
* Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with clients
* Apply strong problem‑solving skills and independent judgment
Qualifications:
* Qualified veterinarian registered with RCVS
* Experience in small‑animal practice preferred
* Comfortable working independently in emergency situations
* Strong client‑care and communication skills
