Location: Solihull, Birmingham
Rate: £32.64ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £24.35ph on a PAYE basis

The Opportunity
This role will work as part of the FA3 maintenance operations team covering any breakdown in production time/ non-intrusive preventative maintenance and intrusive maintenance out of production time. The role will mainly be focused around FA3; however, our workload does include multiple areas within the business.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Drive cost reduction in the area, root cause all faults and implement permanent corrective actions.
* Work within a team maintaining all equipment to the highest standards reducing MTTR, MTBF and MTTA.
* To work as part of the maintenance team to ensure a safe and efficient equipment performance is delivered within the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People & the Environment framework
* Achieve equipment service and repair objectives as directed
* Technical response to breakdowns of all facilities and their controls to deliver minimal down time using safe working practises
* Contribute to all preventative maintenance completion targets
* Contribute to environmental initiatives to maintain standards as required
* Contribute to the delivery of Health and Safety initiatives to maintain standards as required
* Work on waste within maintenance and continually seek efficiencies in all areas
* Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager/group leader in connection with their job as may be requested

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in a similar role in maintenance operations in Manufacturing
* Technical (mechanical and electrical) automotive engineering skills gained in Manufacturing
* Knowledge of Electrical Control / Mechanical Systems
* Relevant indentured, or advanced modern apprenticeship
* Comfortable use of Microsoft Package Elements e.g. Excel/PowerPoint.
Desirable:
* Good Team Work Ethic
* Knowledge of CMMS systems
* Knowledge of Operating Systems procedures & deliverables
* Experience of Manufacturing Quality Operating Standard
