OnTrade Sales – South Home Counties

We are seeking a driven, inspiring, and determined salesperson to join our sales team, based in and covering the South of M4 corridor. You will work directly with the National Sales Director, Managing Director, Ops Manager, and the wider sales team to develop restaurant sales in the Southern Home Counties region.
We want a creative, autonomous salesperson who is energetic and positive, capable of guiding the overall strategy and achieving results in one of the country's foodie hotspots. You should be a self-starter, target-focused, motivated by opportunity, and eager to make this patch your own and reflect on your successes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Prospecting and delivering on-trade focused sales for Wanderlust Wine in wine-led restaurants, high-quality dining establishments, hotels, golf clubs, etc.
* Focusing on new business acquisition, development, and conversion into sales, despite having existing customers in the region.
* Collaborating with our team to manage relationships with existing customers in the region.
* Assisting clients in building and enhancing wine listings proactively.
* Providing comprehensive staff training where necessary.
Applicants should have a proven track record in new business development, a commercially astute outlook, excellent communication skills, and be personable, ambitious, and independent. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can contribute to and support the wider team.

Skills Required:
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years in on-trade sales or account management.
* Qualifications: WSET Level 2 required; Level 3 preferred.
* Open-minded: Good listening skills, empathetic, and able to align with overall business goals.
* Influencer: Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Self-starter: Motivates themselves, sets achievable goals, plans, and executes.
* Engaging: Able to build strong, lasting relationships with customers.
