We are looking for a motivated Head of Projects, experienced within the IT Professional Services space who will bring their expertise to our team.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of 8, including Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and Technical Engineers, ensuring skill development and succession for the business.
* Contribute to improving the department’s knowledge and use of methodologies.
* Define and execute best working practices, roll out Playbooks of proven practices and workflows to ensure service excellence.
* Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
* Hands‑on management and delivery of key customer projects.
* Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through delivery of projects to the agreed cost, time, scope, quality and security constraints.
* Contribute to the creation and review of new project bids.
* Manage the portfolio of projects and consultancy assignments, including the delivery methodology, change process and risk management.
* Provide monthly project pipeline / utilisation data to support effective business decisions.
* Proactively manage customer relationships to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Provide regular, accurate and timely client reporting to meet and exceed customer expectations.
* Establish regular, clear and consistent communication channels at all levels within the organisation.
Skills and Experience
* Experience leading a projects team within the IT Services space.
* Proven success in technical project delivery.
* Advanced technical experience, especially within the data centre space (Networking, Storage, Infrastructure and Architecture).
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong relationship‑building skills across the business.
* Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision‑making.
* Experience of strategic/operational leadership within a growing SME.
* Project management qualifications such as Prince2.
Pay range: £80,000 - £85,000 gross per annum + eligibility for company bonus scheme.

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 18:00 (40 hours per week).
