Health Visiting Support Worker

The post holder will provide comprehensive, administrative support within the Health Visiting Service. This will include creating and maintaining databases, inputting onto clinical systems, providing administrative support to the team including filing and taking telephone messages and working to agreed policies, protocols and standards. The role may also include supporting within a clinic setting.

Main duties of the job
* The main purpose of the job:
* Provide administrative support to the Health Visiting
* Work to support the delivery of health and wellbeing to children (0-5)
* Contribute to locality teams performance and data capture
* Support the team using IT & Administrative skills
* Occasional clinic support may be necessary
* Liaise with other agencies/ schools/ parents etc

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
* ECDL or equivalent
Knowledge, Training & Experience
* Experience of working to deadlines
* Good telephone manner
* Knowledge of Health Visiting
* Experience of working in a team
* Experience of working across sites within the community
Skills & Abilities
* Highly competent IT skills
* Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs
* Ability to work effectively without direct supervision
* Ability to generate ideas and put them into practice
