We are currently recruiting for an experienced stores person to work for a public sector client in the Dundee area. The role is a long-term one, and you will be working alongside other tradespeople & labourers. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work within a great team environment.
Your new role
In your role as a store person, your day-to-day job will include the following duties:
* Receiving goods, unloading deliveries and checking for damage or discrepancies
* Verifying delivery notes against Purchase Orders
* Organising and storing items in designated locations, ensuring stock is stored safely and securely.
* Conducting regular stock checks and audits and updating inventory records using manual logs or digital systems
* Order fulfilment and reporting low stock levels or discrepancies
* Picking and packing items for dispatch
* Coordinating with couriers or delivery drivers
* Keeping the store or warehouse clean and organised
What you'll need to succeed
* You will have experience working in a similar environment and will be within a reasonable distance of the store, which is in the west of Dundee.
* Ideally, you will have strong multi-trade knowledge and be able to communicate with all trades around their requirements.
* You will require a full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this role.
