Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education and contribute to the well-being and development of our students. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Support the assessment and tracking of student progress.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays.
Supervise students during break times, lunch, and other school activities.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that supports all students.Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A patient and caring approach to working with children.
Basic understanding of child development and learning strategies.
Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
