The OpportunityThis HealthTechpany is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in the public health and local authority markets. You'll be responsible for building strategic partnerships with local authorities, public healthmissioners, and related stakeholders to expand preventative healthcare solutions acrossmunities.This is an opportunity to make a real impact in preventative health while working in a fast-growing scale-up environment. You'll have the autonomy to develop your territory while contributing to building scalable sales processes and attending industry events to represent thepany.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales:
6. Own the full sales cycle for public health and local authority accounts, from prospecting to close
7. Develop and execute targeted strategies for local authorities and public healthmissioners
8. Navigateplex public sector procurement processes, frameworks, bids and tenders
9. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in preventative health
10. Represent thepany at conferences, regional meetings and industry events
11. Present the platform and demonstrate value to multi-stakeholder decision-making groups
Stakeholder Management:
12. Identify and engage with the right stakeholders across public health teams
13. Manage relationships across ICBs, local authorities, and public health networks
14. Collaborate with marketing to generate qualified leads and provide market feedback
15. Work with implementation teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
Strategic Contribution:
16. Contribute to developing sales processes, playbooks, and best practices
17. Provide market intelligence andpetitive insights
18. Help shape the go-to-market strategy for the public health sector
19. Share learnings to support the scaling of themercial function
Ideal Candidate ProfileEssential Requirements:
20. 3+ years in B2B sales with demonstrable success in public health or local authority markets
21. Deep understanding of public sector procurement, including bids, tenders, and frameworks
22. Experience navigatingplex stakeholder environments and public healthmissioning
23. Knowledge of preventative health priorities and the local authority landscape
24. Strong presentation and public speaking skills for conferences and events
25. Consultative sales approach with evidence of sales methodology ( MEDDICC)
26. Process-driven mindset with collaborative spirit andmercial flair
Preferred Experience:
27. HealthTech/MedTech background highly desirable
28. Experience with CRM systems (ideally HubSpot)
29. Network within public health and local authority sectors
30. Understanding of Integrated Care Systems and health innovation networks
