This role is part of the Strategy and Data team within the Strategy and Engagement division. The salary ranges from £43,100 to £51,000 in Edinburgh and Leeds, and from £47,300 to £55,000 in London, depending on skills and experience.
About The FCA
The FCA regulates 45,000 firms in the UK to ensure honest, fair, and competitive financial markets. We are unveiling a new strategic direction to make a positive impact on consumers and markets, focusing on addressing risks from Appointed Representatives (ARs) and their principals.
The Strategy, Engagement and Data team manages the AR strategy, stakeholder relations, and multi-firm projects, leveraging data to focus on the most harmful issues. This fast-moving, high-profile role requires quick data analysis to identify key harms and develop mitigation strategies.
Role Responsibilities
* Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
* Reporting: Develop reports and dashboards to communicate findings.
* Data Visualization: Create visualizations for clear data presentation.
* Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs to evaluate strategy effectiveness.
* Strategic Insight: Contribute to AR strategy development to address consumer and market harms.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including negotiations and delivering messages.
* Teamwork: Support the team in developing data-driven strategies against high-risk ARs and principals.
* Continuous Development: Lead ideas to improve departmental ways of working.

Required Skills and Experience
