New Directions Education are recruiting a pool of compassionate, skilled and dedicated Medical Needs Teaching Assistants to support learners across a range of SEND settings in Wakefield. We are looking for people who are: * Team Teach Trained/Willing to obtain the qualification * Experienced in supporting pupils with medical or complex health needs. * Confident in assisting with personal care and following individual healthcare plans. * Knowledgeable in trauma-informed approaches and therapeutic behaviour support. * Understanding of a range of SEND needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH).
