The role
The Environmental Specialist will ensure airport development and operations comply with environmental laws, best practices, and MAG policies. They will oversee the Environmental Management System, hold departments and contractors accountable for environmental impacts, and support ISO 14001 re-certification efforts.
The role involves communicating environmental policies, producing reports, and sharing best practices across the group, with travel between airports as needed.
What will make you successful in the role?
* Experience in a similar role; aviation experience is desirable.
* Membership in an environmental professional body such as IEMA.
* Passion for environmental issues and innovation.
* Knowledge of environmental laws, pollution prevention, EMS, and ISO standards.
* Strong communication, stakeholder influence, and collaboration skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
