We are currently seeking a Helpdesk Administrator to join us on one of the UK’s most prestigious Ministry of Defence headquarters sites, supporting a complex, high‑profile operational environment. This is a critical role where customer service, integrity, and operational excellence are key. This role will suit a proven customer service professional who ideally has experience in a call centre or customer‑facing environment.
It is important to note this role works in a shift rota - meaning after training you will be required to work a mix of 12 hour days, 12 hour nights and 8 hour days - as we provide a helpdesk service onsite 365 days of the year this means you will be required to work weekends and bank holidays when it is your shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Answer all telephone calls within agreed SLA
* Answer all emails within agreed SLA time scales and log HD’s where needed
* Be aware of the escalation process Out of Hours
* Ensure all onsite company vehicles are signed for when issuing
* Ensure all accommodation keys are signed for and any spare rooms that are given out and the correct form is completed
* Make sure customers are phoned/emailed if a call back has been requested on an HD
* Provide support to accommodation when needed during working hours
* 12 hour shift worker to review Geneva jobs raised to make sure all steps have been followed
Skills /Experience Needed
* Customer Service experience
* Team Player
* Proven in being able to learn new IT systems
* Basic O365 (MS Word, Excel)
* Any experience in a call/contact centre would be desirable
* Able to gain and Maintain MoD SC
This role requires a minimum level of security clearance and may also require a higher level of National Security Vetting. You should be aware that certain levels of clearance or specific projects and/or sites have UK residency requirements; and any dual or multiple nationalities must be declared. Any persons who do not fulfil these residencies requirements may be unable to obtain the required level of clearance and would not be eligible to undertake this role.
