GM Service Engineering Ltd are looking for a service engineer to join our growing team. The role will be predominately working on vacuum packaging machinery and table top slicers.
Previous experience in an engineering or service background is preferred.
We serve the butchery, hospitality, meat processing and medical industries across the country
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair equipment at customer sites.
* Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
* Provide training and support to customers on the proper use of equipment.
* Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
* Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance based on field feedback.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while on-site.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000 - £35,000 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm (Includes 30 minutes unpaid lunch).
Must have a full driving license (Ideally clean).
Company van, fuel card & tools are provided.
In-House Training provided.
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 (Experience dependant).
This salary is inclusive of all hours required to perform your duties. No additional payments will be made for overtime worked.
On call rota for 1 in 5 weeks (Either overnight stays or emergency call-outs). Monthly retainer of £150 paid in addition to salary. Emergency call-outs paid per visit.
