As a Senior Care Worker with CrossReach, you will play an important role in leading and supporting a care team to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care for older people. You will provide leadership on shift, helping to ensure care is delivered with dignity, respect and compassion at all times.
Responsibilities
* Leading and supporting the care team, including rota planning and task allocation
* Providing management cover and helping to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment
* Overseeing care planning, medication management and quality standards
* Supervising and supporting staff through appraisals, training and development
* Promoting the wellbeing of service users in a kind and person‑centred way
Qualifications
You are a calm and supportive leader who leads with compassion and integrity.
You are confident in guiding others and committed to delivering high standards of care.
You have a Christian faith and are able to work within and uphold the Christian ethos of CrossReach.
Other requirements:
* Hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and be willing to work towards PDA Supervision, PDA Medication, SVQ Level 4 and the Workplace Assessor Award
* Have basic computer skills
* Be registered with the SSSC
* Be a member of the PVG Scheme
