The Role
As an Optical Assistant, you'll play a key part in delivering a smooth, reassuring, and professional experience for every patient who walks through the door.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Welcoming patients and guiding them through their visit
* Dispensing spectacles and supporting frame and lens selection
* Pre-screening and supporting clinical clinics
* Managing diaries, recalls, and patient queries
* Supporting the smooth running of the practice day to day
* Working collaboratively with the wider team to maintain high standards
About You
This role would suit someone who:
* Has experience as an Optical Assistant
* Enjoys working directly with patients and building rapport
* Takes pride in delivering a high level of service and care
* Is a team player with a positive, proactive approach
* Is organised, reliable, and personable
* Is looking for stability within a friendly, community-based practice
