You'll take ownership of ensuring that components from our suppliers meet the standards our products demand. When something isn't quite right, you'll spot it, assess the risk, and work with internal teams to keep production running smoothly. You'll lead the charge on corrective and preventive actions, using your analytical mindset to strengthen our processes. You'll work independently within a supportive Quality team and report to the Quality Assurance Manager. What you'll be doing: Conduct supplier audits using a risk-based approach, supporting Procurement in the validation and onboarding of new suppliers, as well as supplier reallocation activities, with a strong focus on process capability and PPAP Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics to identify underperformance, and collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement effective improvement plans Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier-related quality issues, including issue validation (drawing reviews & part measurements) and driving suppliers to implement robust corrective and preventive actions. Lead and support supplier meetings with both strategic and underperforming suppliers to ensure effective communication, address operational challenges, and promote continuous improvement. Support New Product Introduction (NPI/NVI) projects by ensuring timely and accurate completion of FAIRs and PPAP documentation for new components. Lead and coordinate supplier 8D (CAPA) activities in response to customer and production issues, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and the implementation of sustainable corrective actions. Promote structured problem-solving methodologies, utilising tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa and A3 reports to drive effective resolution of quality issues. About you: Hands‑on mentality with a proactive, solution‑focused approach. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge and experience with quality systems and methods, such as 8D, AQL, First Article Inspection, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Process Capability, and ISO 9001. Experience using measuring equipment (e.g., Keyence) or willingness to learn. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Comfort working independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams. Flexible, goal‑driven mindset, able to work patiently and with high accuracy. Strong analytical skills with 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
