The Role
As the Manufacturing Controller, you will be responsible for the effective management of stores and inventory in a manufacturing environment. Your key duties will include:
* Overseeing stock control and storekeeping, ensuring proper shelf life management
* Loading manufacturing cells with the necessary work packages to meet production schedules and delivery targets
* Packing and receiving/issuing of tools and equipment
* Updating computer records and maintaining accurate inventory data
* Kitting activities and loading/unloading of lorries
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Controller role will have:
* Proven experience in a stores or manufacturing control environment
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable mindset
* Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Excel
* Forklift truck licence and knowledge of Kanban or 2-bin systems (desirable)
