The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly operational Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the next phase of August’s growth.
The COO will be first and foremost a hospitality leader, someone deeply experienced in delivering exceptional customer experiences at scale. They will oversee Hospitality, Home Operations, Real Estate, People, and the cross-functional rhythm of the business, ensuring that every August home and every team delivers at the highest standard.
This role is also pivotal to the administration and governance of our growing number of collections, working closely with Legal, Finance, and Client Operations to manage AGMs, homeowner reporting, and board communication with professionalism, precision, and transparency.
A key member of the executive team, the COO transforms strategy into structure, building processes, teams, and systems that enable August to scale rapidly across markets without compromising quality. They are an exceptional operator who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-market environment and who leads with both rigour and care.
