Role Overview
CPFT is announcing a 0.2 WTE Menopause Specialist Practitioner on an 18‑month temporary contract, funded by NHS Charities and hosted by Head to Toe Charity. The post will support the Staff Wellbeing Service in delivering the Trust’s Menopause Workplace Pledge and in the development and implementation of the Trust’s menopause policy.
Responsibilities
* Own and manage a caseload of staff experiencing menopause, providing 1:1 workplace assessments and advice for managing symptoms.
* Collaborate with the staff wellbeing service lead to develop and promote the Trust’s Menopause Policy and Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
* Support the delivery and chairing of the staff menopause support group and promote the Menopause Workplace Pledge across the Trust.
* Advise and educate staff, managers, and other professionals (including occupational health colleagues) on menopause‑related health and wellbeing.
* Provide training to leadership and managers on menopause support and the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
* Work across the CPFT area, including offices, wards, clinics and community settings, and perform lone‑working duties as required.
* Promote the Staff Wellbeing Service and raise awareness of the relationship between work and health.
* Ensure clinical assessments, interpretations, planning, implementation, and evaluation comply with professional guidelines and multidisciplinary team support.
* Prioritise referrals according to clinical need and allocate or signpost appropriately.
* Maintain a high standard of care for all staff and support non‑registered staff and students in the Staff Wellbeing Service.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Clinical qualifications with relevant experience in menopause management.
* Ability to work autonomously within the Staff Wellbeing Service.
* Strong communication and educational skills.
* Experience in delivering training and support groups.
