Right now, they’re looking for an experienced Data Solutions Architect (GCP) to join their Data Management practice.
đź’ˇ The Opportunity
This is a strategic, client-facing role at the intersection of technology, consulting, and business
transformation. You’ll lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms (lakes, lakehouses, warehouses) on GCP and influence senior stakeholders on cloud strategy, data modernisation, and advanced analytics.
Expect to spend ~40–50% of your time in pre-sales engagements (RFPs/RFIs, workshops, solution blueprints), while also shaping solution strategies, guiding delivery teams, and acting as a trusted advisor to CDOs, CIOs, and Heads of Data.
🔑 What You’ll Do
* Lead enterprise solution design on GCP, BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake
* Drive cloud migration & modernisation strategies (Terraform, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
* Define enterprise data models (ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner)
* Architect ETL/ELT frameworks & pipelines (Dataflow, Dataproc, Informatica, etc.)
* Implement governance & quality frameworks (Unity Catalog, Profisee, Alation, DQ Pro)
* Engage clients at C-suite level to shape roadmaps & business cases
* Mentor and inspire global delivery teams while building internal capability
🎯 What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years in BI/Data Warehousing & analytics, with 4+ years in solution/technical architecture
* Strong banking domain expertise (essential) and insurance knowledge (advantage)
* Proven track record in enterprise data modelling (3–5 years minimum)
* Practical knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
* Hands-on experience with GCP (preferred), plus Azure/AWS exposure
* Strong leadership & consulting skills with experience in client-facing roles
* Cloud certifications (GCP/Azure/AWS) are highly desirable
