Good Afternoon,
I am currently representing Thurrock Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience. We are looking for an ER Support Officer. This role will be: RM176SL Hybrid Working.
Responsibilities
* Support the provision of comprehensive and high-quality advice to managers.
* Coordinate formal consultation meetings with employees and trade unions and provide HR support and note taking.
* Maintain accurate records for all transferring employees, including terms, variations, and protected rights.
* Assist in drafting FAQs and HR guidance for managers and employees.
* Provide administrative support for any contractual changes arising from the transfer (e.g., payroll updates, HRIS updates, issuing new contracts).
* Maintaining HR systems to ensure accurate and up to date recording.
* Undertake a range of support activities including general administration.
* Maintenance of confidential records, in order to retrieve data quickly and efficiently.
