Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join their team and play a key role in their multi-million-pound highway project. The successful candidate will be responsible forfinancial forecasting and reporting, as well as contract administration via CEMAR. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in quantity surveying while working in this relevant sector to join an exciting project that will be making serious, notable change!
This is a freelance, ongoing role were you will be working inside of IR35.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the financial aspects of the projects within the multi-million-pound network framework.
2. Prepare, review, and monitor budgets, ensuring cost control and accuracy.
3. Collaborate with project teams to provide timely and accurate cost advice.
4. Administer NEC contracts and ensure compliance throughout project lifecycles.
5. Prepare and negotiate contractual agreements, variations, and final accounts.
6. Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise project cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
8. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
9. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering projects, specifically in relation to highways.
10. Thorough understanding and practical application of NEC contracts.
11. Proficient in cost estimation, budget management, and financial reporting.
