Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join the service for Haringey Council. Duties and Responsibilities: * Chairing reviews for Looked After Children in line with statutory requirements. * Providing independent oversight of care plans and ensuring progression for children in care. * Ensuring the child's voice is heard and considered in all aspects of care planning. * Monitoring the quality and timeliness of social work practice and interventions. * Escalating concerns and challenging practice where necessary to ensure positive outcomes. * Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
