The basics:
Job Title: NDT Inspector - Quality
Pay: up to £40,000
Shift/hours: Monday to Thursday flex start times between 7am and 8am and finishing at 4pm or 5pm - early finish Fridays 12:00 or 12:30.

Overview:
Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facilities we now require a NDT Inspector (level 2 or above) to the join the business. You will be working closely within the quality function of the business running the NDT department and actively working with the Heat Treatment process engineers - this a is a varied role focused on quality.
Overview of responsibilities:
Manage the NDT/heat treatment processes
Maintain and improve quality systems to meet AS9100, ISO14001, NADCAP and customer requirements
Drive continuous improvement and zero-defect culture through audits, KPIs, Walk the Floor routines, and lean initiatives
Support manufacturing and NPI by identifying, resolving, and preventing quality issues using robust control tools (PFMEA, PPAP)
Collaborate with and develop teams to achieve quality, cost and deliveryThe ideal candidate / NDT Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
Knowledge of machining and fabrication techniques for metal components
Knowledge of AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP.
Knowledge of Process flow charts PFMEA & PPAP.
Previous experience as an NDT inspector at level 2 or above
Knowledge of heat treatmentCommutable from:
Derby, Nottingham, Burton-Upon-Trent and surrounding areas.
