Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Systems Designer to design, develop, and document electrical control systems for industrial equipment and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will translate functional requirements into safe, reliable, and compliant control system designs, working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and commissioning teams. Key Responsibilities Design electrical control systems, including power distribution, control panels, and field wiring Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs) Select appropriate electrical components ( Variable speed drives, relays, breakers, etc.) Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and Support panel fabrication, assembly, and testing by providing clear documentation and technical guidance Collaborate with software, mechanical, and project engineers throughout the design lifecycle Participate in design reviews, troubleshooting, and system validation Revise and maintain documentation based on feedback, testing, and field changes Assist with commissioning and startup activities as needed Required Qualifications Experience designing electrical control systems in an industrial or automation environment Proficiency with electrical design tools Good understanding of control system architecture and industrial electrical components Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, P&IDs, and functional descriptions Knowledge of electrical safety practices and applicable codes and standards Preferred Qualifications Experience with industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.) Experience designing UL-listed or CE-compliant control panels Exposure to variable speed drives.
