English Teacher
Veritas Education is recruiting an exceptional English Teacher for an outstanding independent secondary school in Ricmansworth. This role starts ASAP in an outstanding, rated school where staff and pupils collaborate to create an inclusive learning environment for all.
The school welcomes teachers with or without QTS, and supports ECTs looking to gain qualified teacher status.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and mark lessons in accordance with high academic standards.
* Support school development and contribute to a collaborative staff culture.
* Engage students with enthusiastic and passionate teaching.
* Provide subject expertise across Key Stage 3 & 4.
* Apply effective behaviour management strategies.
* Assist in pupil progress monitoring and reporting.
Qualifications
* Qualified teacher, ECT, or unqualified candidate with strong subject knowledge.
* Experience teaching English across Key Stage 3 & 4 is preferred.
* High level of subject knowledge.
* Strong classroom presence and understanding of behaviour management.
* Enthusiastic and passionate attitude to teaching.
* Experience with planning lessons and marking.
