We’re hiring for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing business in Glossop.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys getting stuck into bookkeeping, payroll support, and day-to-day accounts work.

* Mon - Fri | 8am - 5pm (hours can be flexible)

What will you be doing as an Accounts Assistant?
* Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts
* Completing bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software
* Supporting monthly payroll processes and helping ensure HMRC compliance
* Maintaining accurate financial records, receipts, and client files
* Liaising with clients to gather information, chase documents, and resolve queries
* Helping with VAT returns, expenses, basic tax tasks, and general accounts admin
What do you need?
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Bookkeeping experience
* Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)
* Confident using accounting software
