Mechanical Engineer (Night Shift)
Kettering - £48,000 - £50,000 per annum
Pin Point Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kettering. This is a permanent night shift opportunity, offering excellent earning potential and a stable working pattern.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with the site maintenance schedule
* Respond to mechanical breakdowns and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure production continuity
* Continuously improve maintenance practices to maximise service levels
* Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
* Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental requirements
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Time-served Mechanical Engineer with relevant qualifications
* Previous experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and within tight time constraints
* Positive, proactive, and “can-do” attitude
* Multiskilled experience (mechanical/electrical) would be advantageous
