Job Title: Housing Support OfficerLocation: CroydonPay Rate: £15.50 per hour + Holiday PayContract Type: Temporary (Ongoing)Hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)About the Role:We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Housing Support Officer to join a supportive team in Croydon. This is an ongoing temporary opportunity working with vulnerable individuals, helping them maintain tenancies and move towards independent living.Key Responsibilities:Provide housing-related support to clients with varying needsSupport individuals with tenancy sustainment and independent living skillsCarry out risk and needs assessments and create support plansLiaise with external agencies including local authorities and support servicesMaintain accurate case records and documentationPromote safeguarding and ensure client wellbeing at all timesRequirements:Previous experience in housing support, homelessness, or support workStrong knowledge of tenancy sustainment and housing pathwaysAbility to manage a caseload effectivelyGood communication and interpersonal skillsEnhanced DBS (preferred or willingness to obtain)Desirable:Experience working with rough sleepers, substance misuse, or mental healthKnowledge of Croydon housing services or similar boroughsApply Now:If you are passionate about supporting individuals to achieve independence and stability, we'd love to hear from you.
