As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a QC Analyst based in our Quality Control Laboratory at our Ditton site.
You will be responsible for providing technical support to the Production, Sales and Process Development departments, carrying out testing and solving problems as required.

1. You will possess excellent attention to detail
2. You will be an effective communicator, capable of building effective working relationships both internally and externally
3. You will have excellent planning and organisation skills; able to manage conflicting deadlines and changes in priorities
4. You should have good laboratory skills
5. You will be educated to HND/HNC in a microbiology related discipline or possess relevant experience
6. QC experience (desirable but not essential)
7. Understanding of GMP (desirable but not essential)
8. Experience in microbiological testing would be advantageous (desirable but not essential)
What You’ll Be Doing:

9. Sampling of products manufactured at the Ditton site
10. Performing microbiological analysis of samples
11. Identification of micro-organisms
12. General housekeeping of the laboratory and preparation of media
13. Completing paperwork in accordance with good documentation guidelines
14. The role will require shift work although the initial training shall be 9-5 Monday to Friday
