Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworks labourer to join our team. The Groundworker will play a crucial role in various construction and landscaping projects, ensuring that groundwork is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
* Carry out excavation and ground preparation tasks for construction projects.
* Assist in the installation of drainage systems, foundations, and other essential groundwork elements.
* Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised worksite by removing debris and ensuring all materials are stored correctly.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times to promote a safe working environment.
* Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
Skills
* Experience in groundworks or related fields is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
* Ability to operate basic construction tools and machinery safely.
* Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
* Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
* Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
* Understanding of health and safety practices in construction environments is beneficial.
