Interim Senior Accountant - Immediate start
London (Hybrid) – 3 months
£400 – £500 p/day (Umbrella)
We have partnered with a global business seeking the interim support of a Senior Accountant. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure a smooth month-end close and provide critical support across group finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of month-end journals, schedules, and variance analysis.
* Support the group with statutory audits and ensure compliance with GAAP.
* Manage intercompany reconciliations and prepare reconciliations at group level.
* Review Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and monitor banking activity.
* Provide guidance to local accountants on fixed assets, AP, and AR processes.
Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Proven experience in a similar role within a global or complex organisation.
* Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and statutory reporting.
* Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA is essential.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple regions.
