As the People Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizations success. If you are passionate about leading teams, driving excellence, and making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply As a People Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring the end-end operational delivery of all people services such as onboarding, new joiners, transfers, leavers and all HR enquiries and transactions. Additionally, alongside other Operations Managers, you will be expected to take ownership of continuous improvements such as process reviews and digital enhancements. You will report directly to the HR Operations Manager and manage a team of HR Advisors. The People Centre Team are the first point of contact for Ofgem employees and line managers seeking HR and policy advice across a range of people subjects. Person specification Key Responsibilities Provide inspirational leadership to the HR Shared Services team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Monitor team performance against service level agreements and key performance indicators, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and service quality. Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the People Centre function to increase efficiency and improve the employee experience. Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, ensuring their HR service needs are met and managing expectations effectively. Ensure all HR processes comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures. Champion the development and upskilling of team members, promoting a learning environment that supports career progression. Demonstrates effective diversity and inclusive team management within their team and the wider organisation. Key Outputs and Deliverables Lead, Manage and develop the People Centre team to carry out all people related transactions in an effective and timely manner, ensuring adequate cover arrangements are in place during peak periods/holidays. Driving excellent customer service, developing, leading, and maintaining collaborative work processes that put the customer first. Build strong relationship with the business, respond proactively to escalated HR issues from the team or business and work closely with the wider HR team and Finance. Manage the timely and accurate payroll transactions each month.
