Job Description
Owing to an ongoing challenging portfolio of projects, this Consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to be based in Sheffield.
Your duties will involve the drainage design of roads and highways, which includes private roads as well as roads for adoption (Section 38) and the modification of existing highways (Section 278).
You will also assist in the daily provision and delivery of technical design information, and your responsibilities and duties will comprise of although will not be limited to;
* Designing foul and surface water drainage systems.
* Design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (S.U.D.S).
* Vertical and horizontal road design applying the latest 3D modelling software (i.e. Bentley).
Person Specification
To be considered for this vacancy, the ideal candidate will possess the following:
* Masters degree (MEng) or Bachelors degree (BEng) in Civil Engineering / BSc in Civil Engineering.
* A Chartered or near Chartered status (MICE / CIWEM)
* Proficient in the use of WinDes / MicroDrainage / Civils 3D
* Strong drainage experience.
