We are looking for a dedicated SEN / SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inspiring school community in Worthing. This exciting role offers the chance to support children and young people aged 4-18, depending on your experience and preference. This is a rewarding opportunity where no two days are the same - you’ll be helping students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. ✨ What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech & language needs, and social, emotional & mental health (SEMH). Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support. Working closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans. Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment. Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience, and personal growth. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN and/or SEMH (school-based or other relevant settings). A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to support different age groups (Primary, Secondary, or Post-16). A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
