What You'll Do Operate the Shotoku robotic camera system, running multiple cameras at once and following clear instructions from the Gallery to deliver accurate, consistent shots. As Floor Manager, manage the studio floor by acting as the main point of communication between Directors, crew, Presenters and guests. Use the talkback system to pass on information clearly and help keep the show running smoothly. Ensure the functionality of equipment, such as microphones and earpieces, by carrying out simple checks before each show and making sure they are set up correctly for anyone who needs them. Anticipate changes to the set and show by reviewing the running order and programme schedule so you can adjust quickly when things move or change. Take responsibility for identifying equipment or controlsystem issues in the studio and escalate them to the relevant teams when needed. Provide clear reports to the Operations Support Manager, highlighting outcomes, issues and any useful learnings. Maintain strong housekeeping standards, look after technical equipment and support simple, effective processes for its use and care. Maintain awareness of current Health & Safety guidelines and help support a safe working environment through good, consistent practices. What You'll Bring A basic understanding of how a production studio works in a broadcast environment and the confidence to learn new skills quickly. A positive and proactive approach, working well with others and contributing to an inclusive team environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels, including presenters and guests. A reliable work ethic and a willingness to support all areas of the department when needed, while being considerate of others and their working needs.
