Accounts Semi Senior is required for a leading independent practice firm in Manchester City Centre. Your new company Our client, a well-established and highly respected independent accountancy practice based in the heart of Manchester City Centre, is seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi-Senior to join their growing team. Your new role As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will work closely with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and limited companies, supporting senior team members and delivering high-quality accounting services. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing year-end accounts for SMEs, OMBs, and limited companies Preparing management accounts where required Assisting with corporation tax computations Completing VAT returns and general bookkeeping tasks Liaising directly with clients to request information, resolve queries, and support their ongoing accounting needs Working with a range of cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage What you'll need to succeed We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced in accounts preparation within a practice environment Confident communicating directly with clients Familiar with owner-managed businesses and limited company accounting Studying AAT or ACCA (or looking to start/continue studies) Proactive, organised, and eager to progress within a reputable firm.
