Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Poole
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
Start date: As soon as possible
Our school is committed to creating a caring, inclusive environment where every student can succeed. We support children aged 4 to 19 with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Our dedicated staff work closely with each student to help them reach their full potential and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering engaging, tailored learning activities
Support students on a 1-1 basis and within small groups
Help create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment
Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the team
What We’re Looking For:
A compassionate, patient individual with a genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
Relevant experience or qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support are desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A positive attitude and a desire to make a difference
