About you
The successful applicant should have a passion for working with pupils who have special educational needs and disabilities and be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant qualification. You may be working in a similar role such as a Senior Learning Support Worker and should have at least a Level 1 Makaton qualification which you are experienced in using to support pupils with a high level of needs on an individual 1:1 basis, in classes. small groups and champion Makaton across the school. You should also be experienced in leading classes as you will be providing a cover service for teachers.
The Role
As a Higher-Level Learning Partner, you will join our dedicated and friendly team. You will be working to support pupil(s) with a high level of needs on a 1:1 basis, utilising your Makaton skills and you will also be working in small groups. The role requires the provision of a cover service for teachers, covering PPA subjects and meetings.
